As you may have noticed, updates on LaTalers has been increasingly infrequent during the past few days. Many of our staff members are becoming more occuiped with other priorites as the year progresses. As such, the development of LaTalers.com will cease indefinitely. This does not necessarily mean “permanently”, although we can no longer guarantee any updates are soon to come. Because the content on LaTalers.com can still serve as a helpful resource for LaTale players, the site will remain online and accessible.

We wish everyone good luck, especially with the onset of school. We also hope that you’ve enjoyed playing LaTale, and that our site proved of some help to you.

Starting a Battle

To join the arena, you will first need to go to the Fight Arena in Elias and speak to Lemy. She will give you the option to “Apply for Fight”. If you choose to fight, you can choose to do a 2, 4, 6, or 8-player battle. The game will automatically select your opponents.

Fighting in the Arena

Once you are in the arena, the fight will be on. The first thing you may notice is that, while you can use your weapons and moves, you cannot use your potions. You can buy special potions, though, that only work in the Fight Arena. Also, you can get bonuses by picking up the floating question mark tiles.

Winning, Losing, and Points

Once the battle is over, the Fight Arena will display every participant’s kills, deaths, and points received. The number of points that each player receives depends on the player’s ranking in the battle and how many other playere were in the battle. The more people that are in the battle, the higher the points, so it pays off to try 6 and 8-player battles.

La Tale Open Beta is Here!

The Open Beta is finally here, and it is going to be huge! Starting at 10:00 AM (Pacific) this morning, you can get a taste of everything La Tale has to offer, including special Open Beta bonuses and mini-events!

If you are having any trouble updating your La Tale Client, we have a manual patch that you can download. Just go to http://downloads.ogplanet.com/games/LaTaleManualPatch.zip to download the patch and then run it!

So get into the tale, look around, and have fun! Remember, the Open Beta only runs until September 3rd and there will be tons of fun surprises throughout these two weeks!

LaTale Open Beta Announced

Are you getting excited for La Tale? Can’t wait until September 18th to play it? Well, here’s your chance to get a taste!

From August 21st through September 3rd, we will be holding a La Tale Open Beta. While this is a test and the data will be cleaned up for the official launch, the Open Beta will be full of mini-events, power-up bonuses, and more surprises! Plus, if you join us for the Open Beta, you can try on Astro items and if you’re lucky, you may win special prizes for the official release!

And, of course, it is open for all OGPlanet members and completely free! So join us for the first open look at La Tale on August 21st!
